I graduated from Covenant College with History Degree. I begrudgingly went to graduate school at the prompting of my adviser where I studied Public History & Library Science at Kent State University. It was a fantastic decision. I've been working in libraries for ten years now. I grew up a military brat and actually graduated from High School in Charleston, SC, although I only attended that school for my Junior year. My senior year was spent as an exchange student in Germany. As a Librarian I'm especially interested in understanding how first year students today approach academic research and how we as librarians can help them improve those skills.
